Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin Code of Conduct
When you game at any Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy or participate in any of our in-store events, you are agreeing to conduct yourself with a certain level of decorum and civility. The following is a list of guidelines Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy are epxected to follow while in our store.
• No swearing or offensive language.
• Keep voices appropriate for inside. (No yelling, screaming or excessive loud noise.)
• Please keep all music and sound effects at a reasonable volume. No music with excessive swearing or offensive content is permitted.
• No pornography.
• No alcohol, illegal drugs or intoxication is permitted on Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® property.
• No smoking is allowed inside Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy. Due to state and city ordinances, all smoking must take place 15 or more feet from the front entrance of the building.
• No unlicensed firearms or other illegal weapons or substances.
• Conduct yourselves with civility; if you cannot resolve your argument civilly, please continue it another time.
• No customer is allowed to wander the store with a backpack, duffel or other large bag or container. All customers are expected to check their bags with Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® staff. If you are gaming, please leave your gaming supplies and bags at your table or check them with staff.
• No running, wrestling, horseplay or fighting.
• No drinks without lids or open food containers. Please close chip bags, cookie bags, or any other food container.
• We have two store cats. Please be respectful of them. (No chasing the cats, no laying on the cats and please do not pick up the cats without speaking to a store employee.)
• Do not feed the store cats.
• No unpaid merchandise is allowed in any gaming room.
• You are responsible for cleaning the gaming space you use.
• Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin is not responsible for the loss, damage or theft of personal items.

Event Pre-Registration
Pre-registering for a Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin event is simple. You can:
• Come by the store and pre-register in person
• Call the store at 512-454-2399
• Email our Events Coordinator, Robbie LaBanca.
Some events have special pre-registration requirements. When information is posted about those events, the pre-registration information will be posted with it.
When you pre-register for a Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin event, you will need to provide the following:
• Your name
• Valid email
• Valid phone number
• Pre-payment for the event, if required
If you do not pre-pay for paid events, you will not be considered pre-registered.
Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin pre-registration policies:
• You will need to present a copy of your reciept at the event.
• Your seat will be reserved until 10 minutes prior to the event. At that point, your seat will no longer be reserved and refunds are no longer applicable except at Management discretion.
• If you are unable to attend an event you have pre-registered for, we request that you notify Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin as soon as possible. If you notify us prior to the event, you can receive a refund for your pre-registration fee. If you do not notify Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin that you will be unable to attend, refunds will be at Management discretion.
Some events will have specific pre-registration policies for that event only. Those policies will be posted with the other event information.

Organized Play
Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin offers a wide variety of organized play groups, including RPGA Events, D&D Encounters, DCI Sanctioned Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon League Play and many others.
Organized Play events are sometimes run by Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin, but more often, Organized Play events are run by customers and special representatives. We will try to provide you with as much information as possible about Organized Play events at Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin with webpages, new posts and Facebook posts.
Our weekly Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Dispatch also has a lot of Organized Play information.

Every Monday, Tuesday & Thursday nights at 7 PM we offer Open Minis Play. Open Minis Play is just that – we have open tables on a first-come first-served basis!
