What is the Lending Library?
The Lending Library is just what it sounds like! Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin is offering you a chance to check out some of our favorite graphic novels and manga – for free!
The way it works is simple: just sign up for a Lending Library account and check out whichever of our titles catches your eyes, have it to read and enjoy for up to ten days, and return it on the due date.
Best yet? The Lending Library is a dynamic library! Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin staff change out the titles every few months to keep the selections fresh, so there’s always something new to read!
The Rules
- Anyone can join! You must fill out a Lending Agreement Form and have your state ID card or driver’s license and a major credit card or debit card with major credit card imprint. Kids and teenagers under 18 years of age can sign up with parental consent.
- You must be over 18-years-old to borrow any mature-rated book in our Lending Library
- You may borrow a book for TEN DAYS. There are no late fees, but after ten days, if the book has not been returned in good condition, you will be charged the full cover price of book against your credit/debit card.
- If the book you want to read is currently checked out, you can be put on the waiting list and we will call you when the book becomes available.
