Setting Up Your Shipping Order

You can set up your Dragon’s Lair shipping order by coming into the store, emailing the Dragon’s Lair Shipping staff, or by calling either Dragon’s Lair location:

Anytime you place a Special Order with Dragon’s Lair, we are happy to offer shipping if you can’t make it back to the store to pick it up! If we do not have your product in stock, we will be happy to order it for you and contact you once your product comes in.  We are happy to ship multiple items or ship an order as each product comes in.

We are also always happy to set up a shipping service for our subscribers!

Dragon’s Lair requires the following information for any shipping order:

• Name
• Shipping Address
• Phone Number
• Valid Email Address
• Method of Payment

Dragon’s Lair does not require that customers keep a credit card on file with us. We do require that customers inform us as to which method of payment is preferred.

Unless you request otherwise, Dragon’s Lair keeps your shipping information on file so if you decide to order from us again, we are able to look you up in our system and send you your purchase as efficiently as possible.

If you are a subscriber with us or would like to become a subscriber, we would be happy to set you up on our shipping service.

Shipping Policies

• Dragon’s Lair shipping customers must provide the following information to be eligible for shipping:
  • Name
  • Shipping Address
  • Phone Number
  • Valid Email Address
  • Method of Payment
• Customer may purchase the product in the store and have it shipped anywhere in the world or they may place a special order.  There may be a delay in shipping of special order products, depending on product availability.
• All products must be purchased prior to shipping.  A member of the Dragon’s Lair shipping staff will contact you when your purchase is ready to be shipped and provide you with a total price, including shipping.  We will not charge your credit card until you confirm with us that we may do so.  We prefer confirmation to be via email for our records.
• Dragon’s Lair is not responsible for damage to products once they are shipped.


• Returns for shipped merchandise are handled on a case-by-case basis and will be decided based on manager review.


• All comics are shipped with bag & board (additional $0.20 per comic) unless the customers specifically requests otherwise.


• Dragon’s Lair does ship to prisons, but is not responsible for material that is damaged, rejected or seized by authorities.


• Dragon’s Lair is happy to ship internationally, but is not responsible for products seized or searched by customs, TSA or other government authorities.


• All purchases will be shipped within 48 hours of the transaction being completed.


• Please Note:  All shipping is handled out of our Austin store. 
  If you are shipping from our San Antonio store, your shipment may delayed due to transit times between stores.

Shipping Rates

• Dragon’s Lair uses the USPS Flat Rate Shipping for most shipping; the prices can be found on the USPS website. (http://www.usps.com/prices/priority-mail-prices.htm for domestic and http://www.usps.com/prices/priority-mail-international-prices.htm
  for international).
• Sending a standard envelope with comics is $4.90. A small box is $4.95 and a medium box is $10.70 – so forth and so on according to the chart on the website. Our shipping rates increase or decrease with the post office rates.
• Flat Rate shipping is Priority Mail and usually arrives within 2-3 business days of shipping.
• If we are shipping just a single comic, we will ship in a standard envelope and charge $2.00 for shipping (this includes bag & board). Anymore more than a single comic, Flat Rate shipping
  applies.
• We can ship UPS upon request, but customers should be informed this is almost universally more expensive.
