Free RPG day is coming this Saturday June 19th! Come by to play in our games or just get free stuff from friendly participating game companies! Please note that due to limited supply, free items will be handed out with a few guidelines: if you are running a game at the store, you get first pick; if you are playing in a game in the store, you get next pick; everyone else gets something on a first come first serve basis. Those participating in games later in the day at the store can request a specific item beforehand (subject to availability, first ask first serve), but if you sign up for a game before Free RPG day starts (and actually show up to participate) you are guaranteed to get something.
What RPG events will we have, you ask? Check out our calendar! We have Paranoia, Earthdawn, and Call of Cthulhu events running pretty much all day. Please sign up at the store to ensure a spot in any particular game. Due to content, the Call of Cthulhu game is restricted to players age 16 or over. Don’t see a game you want to play? We still have room for more if you are or know of a GM who can run a game!
Also, from 1pm-4pm we are pleased to welcome the local Garrison Titan of the 501st Stormtrooper division!
You may also ask, what sorts of free things may we expect on free RPG day? Well, here’s a list:
- (Alderac Entertainment Group) L5R 4th Edition RPG Quickstart & Adventure
- (Amarillo Design Bureau) Prime Directive Quickstart (1 copy only)

Want to play mini games at Dragon’s Lair but don’t want to bring your own boards? We want to accommodate! This Saturday, June 5th all day long we will be building tables and terrain for mini games like Warhammer, Warmachine, Malifaux, Firestorm Armada, or any others you might want. We will be providing raw materials – we just need the expertise and help from our valued customers! If you have ideas about what materials we need, please email bellevue@dlair.net with what you think we’ll need so we can get prepared prior to Saturday.
