Dragon's Lair Comics and Fantasy opened its doors for the first time on September 3rd, 1986. Originally carrying only comics, books and related supplies, it now also carries a wide variety of role-playing and strategy games, DVDs, manga, art and collectibles, miniatures, plus a great line of unusual board games.

Dragon's Lair offers its customers a comic subscription service, a game and miniature special order service and a fun place to meet and play. Dragon's Lair Comics was voted Best Comic Shop in the 2003 Austin Chronicle reader's poll.
