Angel: Lorne is a beautiful story. It is a send off to the character, Krevlornswath “Lorne” of the Deathwok Clan.(though not a permanent send off, as claimed in the end of the book) The story was well written by John Byrne. Even though I am not too familiar with the Angelverse, It had a great tell to send off Lorne. The actor, Andy Hallett, who played Lorne in the TV Series Angel, died of heart failure in March of 2009.(There is mention of this in the end of the book.) This book is a great tribute to Andy Hallett. For fans of Lorne, this would be a must for their collection.

give new fans an introduction to the A-Team. The art is based off the new movie coming out which gives it a nice appeal to people just becoming familiar with the A-Team. For long time fans, it give that old nostalgic kick to get you in gear for a new movie. There is also a cameo in that has a funny outcome. Enjoy the old kick of A-Team with a new faces.

Mark II release has come and gone, but the fervor for Warmachine is still hot at DLSA.

We have close to a dozen regular players who have formed a League and meet every Monday or Tuesday for casual play.

The Fourth weekend of the month is Steamrollers where those players pit their skills against each other in a tournament. We usually run 50pt skirmishes and the tournament organizer takes scenarios from the new 2010 Steamroller rules. Prizes are nice…medals and certificates for first, second, and third places!

This past weekend our “Pirate Ship” Steamrollers was highly competitive with some very cool terrain pieces and very themed boards.

Clay Center (Cryx) took first place over his long-time rival Steve Garcia (Cygnar) who had defeated him in the Resurgence tournament last month. Chris Wallace (Cryx) took the third place medal. This spring, we are planning more tournaments (usually the fourth Saturday of every
month) and a campaign.

Contact Karl Rodriguez (saevents@dlair.net) for more information.

12 PM March 27 2010 at Dragon’s Lair San Antonio

San Antonio’s very own Grindhouse Games has finally released their new Weird War II board game,
Incursion.

To celebrate the launch, join us on Saturday, March 27th for an all-day zombie slaughterfest. The whole crew from Grindhouse and Alamo Gamers will be on hand with stacks of games and miniatures. They will be doing demo games, fighting amongst themselves when there are no demo takers, and generally having a blast. There will be giveaways throughout the day and everyone who purchases a copy of the game will receive a FREE Gretel von X miniature. Talk to the designers, hear about Grindhouse Games future plans, get your copy of this first limited 1000 copy run signed, and have a great gaming experience.

Incursion is a board game set in the world of Secrets of the Third Reich. Armored troopers of the US “Lucky Seventh” hurtle through underground bunkers and combat the monstrous forces of the German SWD in a furious race against time. The Doomsday Device is ticking and neither the Allies nor the Axis can fail. The mechanics for this knuckle-biting two player gaming experience are simple to grasp allowing instant focus on tactical options. Play is incredibly fast-paced and tense and players choose their forces through a card-based Requisition Point system. The game may either be played with chipboard stand-ups that are included in the box or with highly detailed metal miniatures that are available from Dragon’s Lair. Miniatures are NOT required to play this game but they are really cool!

This will be quite a show and we really hope to see you all here!
