Table Reservations
Dragon’s Lair is happy to be able to provide gaming space to our customers, but our space is limited! Although we do accept walk-in groups, we can’t guarantee walk-in groups space!
If you want to make sure you have space at Dragon’s Lair for your game or group, there’s just a few quick steps to follow. If you have a confirmed reservation, we will have space for you. If you do not have a reservation, we cannot guarantee space for your group.
If you already have a calendared event, you do not have to re-submit your event.
If you want to reserve gaming space at a Dragon’s Lair location
- Determine your needs. How many players do you have? How much space will your game take up? How long will you be playing?
- Contact a Dragon’s Lair Events Coordinator.
- Austin: Mr. Larry Prinzivalli either by calling the store during the evenings (512-454-2399) or using the contact form below.
- San Antonio: Mr. Karl Rodriguez either by calling the store during the evenings (210-615-1229) or using the contact form below.
- Please let the Events Coordinator know:
- what day you intend to play
- how many people you will have
- how much space your game will need
- how long you plan to play for
- All parties must reserve a room a minimum of 72 hours in advance, pending Dragon’ Lair Comics & Fantasy Events Coordinator approval.
- Allow us to contact you about your requested reservation. We will email or call you with a confirmation of your reservation or we will email or call you if we cannot accommodate your request.
- Please let us know immediately if you add more than two people to your group or if your times/dates or other requirements change.
Note: Several of the gaming rooms at Dragon’s Lair San Antonio are specialized or have standing reservations. Please allow the staff to select the room most appropriate to your game. You may request a specific room, but your specific request cannot be guaranteed.
Code of Conduct
When you game at any Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy, you are agreeing to behave with a certain level of decorum and civility. The following is a list of guidelines Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy customers are expected to follow while gaming in our space.
- No swearing or offensive language.
- Keep voices appropriate for inside. (No yelling, screaming or excessive loud noise.)
- Please keep all music and sound effects at a reasonable volume. No music with excessive swearing or offensive content.
- No pornography.
- No alchohol.
- No smoking is allowed inside Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy. Due to state and city ordinances, all smoking must take place 15 or more feet from the front entrance of the building.
- No unlicensed firearms or other illegal weapons or substances.
- Conduct yourselves with civility; if you cannot resolve your argument civilly, please continue it another time.
- Please do not wander the store with your backpack, duffel or other large bag or container. If you are gaming, please leave your gaming supplies at your table or behind the front counter.
- If you are not gaming, please leave any large bag or container behind the front counter.
- No running, wrestling, horseplay or fighting.
- No drinks without lids or open food containers. Please close chip bags, cookie bags, or any other food container.
- We have two store cats. Please be respectful of them. (No chasing the cats, no laying on the cats and please do not pick up the cats without speaking to a store employee.)
- No unpaid merchandise is allowed in any gaming room
