Cartoon Comic Adaptations

May 14, 2020

This week we’re featuring some comics that have been adapted from hit animated series! If you love any of these shows and have exhausted your episode queue during quarantine, these are sure to give you another hit of content to enjoy!

Rick & Morty Book One (Deluxe Edition) – As in the hit TV show, we follow depraved genius Rick Sanchez as he embarks on insane adventures with his awkward grandson Morty across the universe and across time! The Deluxe Edition is extra cool as it features an exclusive soundbite when you open the cover. Includes the first ten issues of the series.

Gravity Falls: Lost Legends – Released after the finale of the TV show, this graphic novel features new and original content that fans old and new will enjoy. There are four separate short stories included in this graphic novel – Face It, Comix Up, Don’t Dimension It, and Pine Bros Mystery.

Powerpuff Girls Vol 1: Titans of Townsville – Blossom, Buttercup and Bubbles take us on five different adventures as they save Townsville from a variety of threats. Fantastic fun that is great for kids and nostalgic for adults!

Bob’s Burgers Vol 1: Medium Rare – Join the Belcher family on a variety of new hijinks! Another you’ll want to check out is the Bob’s Burgers Burger Book – a book of real recipes for Bob’s joke burgers. So fire up the grill and get reading!

Samurai Jack: Tales of the Wandering Warrior – One of our favorite Cartoon Network characters has his own series as well! Will he finally find his way back to his own time? This collected edition includes all twenty issues from the comic series.

We hope these selections can bring some light and needed levity to your day! It’s also a great way to get your tweens and teens reading again and away from those tempting screens. We’ve got more where this came from so call first or just stop on by the store to ask and check out our whole selection!
