The next Magic: The Gathering set, Foundations, is launching this November, and it’s a perfect time for seasoned players to jump back into the game, or for new players to learn. Designed as a core introduction to MTG, it focuses on the core mechanics and iconic aspects of the game. It will be a Standard-legal set through at least 2029 and includes several new and reprinted cards designed to establish a strong gameplay foundation for the next era of Magic.
We have several prerelease events available for players looking to try this set out before it officially hits shelves on November 15th, and a special Learn to Play event. This event will focus on teaching and reinforcing the fundamentals of Magic The Gathering. Each entrant will be given a Pre-release kit and will receive instruction from the ground up on the game of magic. This will include everything from the anatomy of a Magic card, to deck-building guide lines and best practices, and the rules of the game. Players will have a chance to test their decks, get feedback, and meet other players. We will also be giving away STARTER COLLECTIONS to lucky players during the event!
