Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy Austin is proud to announce our summer camps for 2020! Please click on the banner below for the camp you are signing your camper up for. Do note that the consent form must be printed and either mailed or brought in person to our store to complete your application. Most of our camps are recommended for ages 10+ but some may be lower ages for some camps, please make sure to check the details on each camp. Each camp is also meant for children under 18.
Due to COVID-19 ALL camps have now been moved to an online format. Details will be sent by our Events team as your camp week approaches.
General Details for all camps
Cost: $350 per camper
Times: 11:30am – 12pm – Drop off / 12pm – Camp starts / 5pm – Pick Up
Medical Release Form – This form MUST be filled out and turned in or mailed to our store location (Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy, C/O Events Team, 2438 W. Anderson Lane, Suite B-1, Austin, TX, 78757) BEFORE your child’s first day of camp. This ensures that we will be prepared for any medical contingencies they may require.

LATE PICKUP: There will be a 15 minute grace period for pickup. For each 15 minutes tardy for pickup, a $5 late pick up fee will be charged.
In the case of an accident or other emergency, the late fee may be waived at management’s discretion.
Snacks: Our summer camps do not offer lunches for campers. We do request that your camper eat lunch before they come to the camp as they start at Noon.
We will offer a bagged snack (such as popcorn / potato chips / chex mix) and a drink package (such as sparkling water or juice pouch) during the camp for a snack break. We do have water fountains in the store as well as a selection of purchasable snacks and drinks at the store that campers will be allowed to purchase with money from home. You may also send your child to camp with additional snacks from home. If your child has dietary or allergy restrictions that we should know about, please provide explicit written instructions on your child’s waiver.
If your child has an allergy or travels with an EpiPen, you must alert staff at drop-off and provide explicit written instruction on your child’s waiver.
NOTE: For campers who have special needs, parents need to be aware that our camp counselors are not trained to handle all special needs. If you feel your child may need additional supervision, guardians are welcome to stay in our shop for the durations of the camps. We do offer free Wi-Fi and plenty of reading material (we ARE a comic shop afterall) for those wishing to stay. In the case that a guardian is unavailable we will reach out to the immediate contacts listed on our emergency form and check-out form.
ALL CAMPERS ARE HELD TO OUR STORE CODE OF CONDUCT. REPEATED VIOLATIONS OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT WILL LEAD TO EXPULSION FROM THE CAMP AND FORFEITURE OF ANY PROMISED MATERIALS. Our code of conduct is located on our website @ https://dlair.net/austin/store-info/store-policies/
RESCHEDULING / CREDIT / REFUND POLICY:
Rescheduling: We understand that schedules and daycare options change at a moment’s notice and are happy to try to make changes
Credit or Refunds: Any other rescheduling, credits or refunds are issued at management’s discretion.
