Having trouble figuring out why your players had trouble with that Beholder you threw at them in the sewers? Are your adventurers complaining about not having enough to do in the world you have made? Is chicken kicking the new sport in your campaign much to your annoyance? Come and join our world building summer camp to talk with other dungeon masters about such issues. As this camp is more focused on detailed world building and troubleshooting a campaign we ask for ADVANCED LEVEL ONLY players please. If your camper has run a campaign as a dungeon master at school or home they would qualify for this advanced level.
This camp is more of a workshop where we will teach and discuss topics such as:
- How to balance the world that you have built to keep it challenging for your players
- How to handle common problems during campaigns such as distractions and power gaming
- Experimenting with different Role Playing Games and discussing the similarities / differences
- Consent and materials in gaming
Our World Building summer camp is recommended for campers aged 12+, campers must be able to read and write on their own, and be able to do basic math. Campers will be expected to be able to sit still for long periods of time to discuss and workshop in this camp. We also ask that campers bring questions and notes to the camp as this camp is to help burgeoning dungeon masters become better story tellers.
