Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin and HEB are pleased to announce the Second Annual Clix for Kids Charity Tournament benefitting the March of Dimes.

Every year, more than 500,000 babies are born to soon in the United States – almost 54,000 of them right here in Texas. The March of Dimes works to improve the health of babies and support families if something goes wrong.

On Friday, May 18, 2012 at 7:30 PM – Heroclix players from all over the great state of Texas are coming to the Austin Dragon’s Lair to play for a great cause and great prizes. Last year this event raised over $1400.00 for charity. Let’s see if we can beat that this year!

Then come check out the Austin Lair‘s Learn to Play demo!

An Austin Lair employee will walk everyone through learning to play and judge an unofficial mock tournament, giving guidance, advice and help as you play. The Austin Lair will provide cards & dice.

This is a great laid-back, casual way to learn Magic: the Gathering!

Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin is excited to announce a brand new Dust Tactics casual league.

Dust Tactics is a alternate history tactical miniatures board game of ruthless engagements in which 2-4 players wage war against each other with the forces of rival factions belonging to one of the world’s superpowers. The Allies and the Axis control the majority of the world and are constantly battling for valuable and rare deposits of VK. Which battle will decide the outcome of the war?

Just stop by your local Lair and ask at the front counter and you can buy passes for A-Kon.

A-Kon are available for a limited time and while supplies last.

Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy® Austin will be raising money for the Hill Country Ride for AIDS. The Austin Lair will not only be a pit stop along the ride, we will be accepting donations through the register for $1 and up.

We will also be hosting a series of gaming events to raise money for this awesome charity. We are incredibly excited and proud to be working with these folks!
